But it works, and for a few seconds the tree's growth accelerates, it sprouts more leaves, branches going downwards, and as if the seasons turned into a spring a myriad of small, white flowers blooms across it ]
[ She laughs at his statement, but the sound is quickly cut off by a small gasp as the tree around them starts the change and grow.
Her eyes wide with wonder, she watches the change, reaching out with gentle fingers to brush a touch against the closest petals, awed by what his magic had created. ]
[ Moments like these— this awe and wonder, the beauty of life springing around. Moments like these make learning and harnessing the magic worth it. He never put much attention to it, back in life. Learned what he had, used what he needed, and freely discarded the rest.
Magic wasn't necessary, like here. So this newfound respect for that force is a change. ]
[ One of the blossoms comes loose in her hand and she cradles it gently a moment before she smiles and turns back to him, lifting the flower to tuck behind one of his ears, nestling it in his hair. ]
[ The "much better" takes him by surprise. Yona once again proves herself to master the unexpected. In response, he hums a soft tune, maybe to hide a bit of fluster. ]
