Biography Yona is known to be cheerful and warm, although before this many would agree that she was slightly self-centered and naive, as many pampered daughters of nobles are wont to be. She was often caught up in her own small daily concerns, but also views the world she was allowed to be part of as a sort of gilded cage that kept her trapped. It is shown that while she might have been spoiled by her father as his only child, she also went out of her way not to make extra trouble for the servants or never to be a burdern on anyone around her, even if it often left her feeling very lonely and isolated. After the events that had her fleeing from her childhood home and awakening as a Pureblood, Yona is approaching everything a lot more seriously than normal. She's quiet, spending much more time observing and thinking before speaking or acting now. Her confidence and her trust in the world she had known has been fractured badly and it has shaken her steady comfort. With so much new and confusing to her, she's going to be approaching this new phase in her life with considerably more hesitance than she might have originally, but there is also a new sort of steel in her spine, resolve in her eyes, as she faces whatever this new life will throw her way. She's finding out she had strength she never realized and it's being honed as she tries to figure out where she fits in this new world. IN-GAME HISTORY: Yona has grown up in the human world as the only daughter of noble ruler/governor. Unbeknownst to her, her family line has carried within it the undiluted blood of a Pureblood ancestor, dormant in their genetics ever since Hiryuu had spelled it that way many generations before. Only the head of the family was entrusted with this secret, passing it down from parent to child when they reached adulthood, inherited with a single vial of Hiyuu's blood, meant to be kept in case a dire emergency ever befell the family line. Such an emergency befell her home the night of Yona's sixteenth birthday, when an unknown faction of Hunters assaulted her father's manor and slaughtered nearly everyone inside - including her beloved father. Having witnessed his death, Yona slipped into a state of shock and would have perished as well, had it not been for the quick actions of her personal bodyguard, a vampire appointed to keep her safe by her father. She and Hak had grown up together and he had been entrusted with the vial of Hiryuu's blood from her father, escaping with it and her and fleeing to safety (although potentially presumed slain in the confusion as well). In the aftermath of the disaster, Hak could only follow her father's orders, giving Yona the blood of her pureblood ancestor to awaken the vampire blood in her own veins and making sure she made the safe transition to vampire herself. Now she's stepped foot into a world she knows nothing about, becoming one of the rare and powerful Purebloods herself and inheriting a line long-thought wiped out and all but forgotten. But the Noble Houses that had once sworn to Hiryuu himself are now bound to protect her as they had him, and the call of her blood is already stirring them. Extra Info - Only Child - New to the Vampire world and an unknown existence to anyone, her sudden appearance came as quite a shock to the vampire world and political circles, probably causing quite a lot of gossip and speculation in recent weeks. - Often accompanied by her personal guard, a vampire by the name of Hak. - To those who knew Hiyuu himself, she "feels" almost identical to him, almost as if his soul has inhabited a new form. - Carries on her person an ornate hairpin at all times, although she never wears it - it remains hidden away somewhere. - Is still discovering many of the perks (and downfalls) to being a vampire, and a Pureblood one at that. Still has very little knowledge or practice at being what she is or discovering what she can do. Is a little afraid to, as well.
