Well, it's not like he remembers doing anything wrong. I hardly think that's his fault. Besides, he's helped Shizuo and I so many times that I am in his debt, whether he remembers it or not.

Not even we can predict every single moment like that, Chikusa. I'm not sure any god here has a shinki with them every minute of the day.

He wouldn't have died a stupid death. The only serial killer that was a problem has been take care of. There's no excuse for him. He should have had one of us with him.

[ So maybe that didn't count as serial killings yet, but maybe it should considering the number of people who had run afoul of it. Just because the victims were harder to kill than most so far didn't mean that they couldn't have died from it. ]

It's one type. There are smaller and less powerful ones. Their intended purpose is to cut through branches or tree trunks.

Whatever size it comes in, it's still a quickly rotating set of metal "teeth" powered by an engine. That means it will still be loud. There's no way to catch someone unawares if you decide to use it as a weapon, especially since it needs to be warmed up before the blades go. That is also loud.

If the people who've been attacked have been shinki, then that's one thing. However, Hakkai is a god. He could have teleported if he thought the person wielding the chainsaw was a serious threat.
